Who We Are

GentleNest Stability Network – Men’s Shelter was created to fill a critical gap in domestic violence services. While many resources exist for women, men often have nowhere to turn.

We provide a safe, confidential space where men can escape violence, receive trauma-informed counselling, and rebuild their lives with dignity. Our team supports each client with compassion, respect, and practical help.

Some sleep in their cars. Some hide their pain behind a strong face. GentleNest was created for them—to provide a place where they can breathe again and begin to heal.

GentleNest grew from a simple observation: men experiencing abuse were often remaining in dangerous homes because they were "ineligible" for traditional shelters. We are here to change that, ensuring that every man has the chance to move forward with confidence.
